Mark Kershner is noted for his crystal-clear vocals and his award winning songwriting. He was born in Seattle, Washington and now lives in Sisters, Oregon. A healthy diet of 40's music from his father's record collection cultivated his love of the melodies and lyrics sung by artist such a Peggy Lee, Dick Haymes, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole and Doris Day.

Deeply inspired by the lyrical ballads of the Big Band era, Mark wrote his first song at the age of thirteen and began performing professionally at the age of fifteen. Since then he has recorded 12 CDs reflecting his versatility, from Lullabies recorded with his children to Country, Jazz and the Big Band sound.
